Hello Neighbors I am Beverly White, your board President. I have resided here at Elysian Fields over 20 years. I have volunteered my time on the board because I feel it’s important to see how matters are handled and how our dues are spent.

I retired from the US District Court, my position was Courtroom Deputy Clerk for a federal judge. My time with the judicial system strengthened my belief in honesty and integrity. I will continue to serve the owners however, I would like to see other owners share the duties of the board. It’s your community also and we should all be willing to volunteer time to the association.

In December of 2018 my husband and I became members of the Elysian Fields Condo Association.  After 39 years of happily living in the City of Dayton we made the tough decision to downsize from our large home in Historic St. Anne’s Hill.   After much research online I came across what is now our condo.  We knew from the moment we saw the photos that it was perfect for our needs.  It took some months of work to make the space our own, but it was certainly a labor of love, and actually, quite fun.  We quickly came to enjoy the peace and quiet here, tucked away in our little part of Huber, as well as the many conveniences just a short drive from here.

It took a while to get to know the neighbors due to a brutally cold winter and a polar vortex, but eventually the weather warmed up and we could go out for walks.   We came to realize this community is not only beautiful from an architectural standpoint, but also a lovely collection of people.  Two years ago I became involved with the Board of Directors as Vice President, and now I am serving as Secretary.  It is quite interesting to get to know the ins and outs of Board service and especially gratifying to work in collaboration with my neighbors to make our community the best it can be.

Hello neighbors, I am Bill Babcock, your Assistant Treasurer. I have resided at Elysian Fields for one year, moving from three miles up the road in Dayton where we lived for 45 years. I retired from the USAF after 22 years of enjoyable service to our Country. I then worked for a company as a V/P that provided Nutrition Services to healthcare hospitals in the Mid- West region. Then decided to develop my own company. After 10 years it was time to hang it up and enjoy life so here I am.
