Good day owners.  It was recently reported that an uninvited visitor was canvassing our community, knocking on doors and asking the person who answered the door to complete a form. Please, when someone rings your doorbell uninvited asking you to buy, complete a survey, sign up for some service or anything please, don’t converse or do business with the person.  I would suggest the following words:

THIS IS A PRIVATE COMMUNITY, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO SOLICIT HERE.  THE POLICE HAVE BEEN/ARE BEING CALLED.

After which you should shut (and lock) your door and walk away.  If you are so inclined to do so, call the police.

Please don’t buy from anyone or sign up for any service that you did not call and ask the company, person, etc to visit.

There is a sign on the gate that says “Private Community”. We are that.
